Vertex-wise regression: Interaction effects (question)

Dear Tristram,

I have noticed that the output from a multiple regression analysis (e.i. vertex-wise regression) represents the main effects of these variables, but if I were interested in testing the interaction effect, should I include an additional variable resulting of multiplying the two independent variables?
