Investigate logging dying gasp to /dev/pmsg0 on Linux #106

Description

@troglobit

/dev/pmsg0 is a special character device file in Linux used by the pstore (persistent storage) mechanism to log messages from user-space applications, especially for debugging crashes or panics, allowing these messages to persist across reboots and be retrieved later from /sys/fs/pstore/pmsg-pstore-blk-0 or similar files, acting like a persistent log buffer for critical data that might otherwise be lost.
