Running on proxmox LXC, jellyfin and plex both are capable of using the Intel iGPU for HW acceleration. This docker image fails to do so. If there are any specifics you might need to help debug the issue please let me know.

Yes I did. I am wondering if this possibly has to do with running docker inside an LXC.

I do have to mention that both Plex and Jellyfin (both of which are installed bare metal) are able to utilize the GPU just fine, so I know for a fact that the GPU is visible and usable inside the LXC.

you can check if the devices are inside the container to confirm.

also, stremio doesn't support all acceleration devices that jellyfin or plex does. You could double check with the official stremio server image if you have any doubt.

It seems that VAAPI is fine. I suspect it is an issue with Stremio HW/profile detection. I will open an issue with the Stremio repo and see if we get anywhere with that. In case you were interested:
