This is probably a pretty hard issue, I think in the short term we may want to make it so that the user can be redirected to chat.tscircuit.com, and if they aren't logged in they have to sign in again. HOWEVER, when they are redirected back, we should remember the query they want to start a chat with.

Sharing sessions across subdomains is unfortunately very difficult and relies on iframe communication hacks. HOWEVER- the double sign in is relatively painless because it should just be a couple of redirects without much interaction from the user.
