NIC's not working?

Hi everyone,

I have Proxmox 8 on an HP DL380 with 9 NIC's. I am unable to get an IP on any of them up. I enabled auto in '/etc/network/interfaces' and rebooted with no luck. I am able to see all of the NICs in /etc/network/interfaces, but when running 'ip a', I see that all interfaces are down. I am getting link lights.

Any ideas? I am not a Debian expert at all.
