It would be nice to have an LXC for some kind of Youtube media manager/downloader. Currently, it looks like Pinchflat fits my needs, and probably the needs of others best. You use it to automate downloading from specific channels or playlists (though it can also be used for one-off video downloads.)
I've used essentially every alternative in the past, and the one that came closest was TubeArchivist, but it also preferred to be the viewer for the media content, where we consume most of the media in our household through Jellyfin, which is what Pinchflat appears to resolve.
I haven't yet had the time to set up a debian LXC with docker and try that, but if I do and begin to attempt to reverse engineer the docker script, I'll update this thread.
