Describe the issue
I'm trying to install Home Assistant OS VM.
The console finishes the installation with ✓ Started Home Assistant OS VM ✓ Completed Successfully! but the GUI hangs at the initialization.

I think it conflicts with the hostname. My eset is alerting me arp cache poisoning attack and my local DNS server is doing crazy things.
I have my production homeassistant running, and the one I'm trying to install now is for testing purposes. Firewall is not configured, all devices and VMs have internet connection.

While this is happening, my access to proxmox is being limited every few minutes. If I force stop this VM, I can access my proxmox without any issue.

This actually has been an issue with the Home Assistant OS install image on any version. Here's the solution, if you still have issues after following his directions, then make sure that you also follow post 3 in the same link.

Crazy thing is, I've never had this issue. 🤞🏻

It doesn't always happen it's very random. Sometimes it hangs and I bring that link and boom fine. Others it goes right to onboarding. I haven't loaded one since looping any timeserver calls back to my own. I heard if you use your own timeserver it seems to avoid this issue.

Disregard. I hade a stupid mistake while allocating an IP address to my HA install.
