Does it support TI's CC3000 smart config ?

Hello,
Great work :) Thanks for open sourcing the tool . very useful.
I'm developing a Iot device and want to use smart config to setup wifi config on it.
but unfortunately , my boss wants to use TI's CC3000 wifi chip set.
I read some comments in the group saying that the current ESP8266 chip is compatible with the TI CC3000 SmartConfig.

so my question is: is it working well too for CC3000 ?

i've not tested with cc3000, why don't you try with esp32 if your boss worried about security the code?

I'll get the device next week. I'll try to test it and update my result here.

Sometimes I can configure, sometimes not. The smartconfig seems not behave consistently. Could you help me?
