[FRONTEND] Loading homepage takes forever

Describe the bug:

When I visit https://app.wikonnect.org on my browser, it takes a while to load/render just the homepage despite my fast internet. Subsequent page visits are fine though the content player also takes significant time to display any content.

Expected Behavior

Visiting the homepage should be fast. Current behavior casts doubts about whether the site is broken or blank.

Current Behavior

It takes over 18 seconds on average to load the homepage on initial visits.

Steps to reproduce

1. Visit www.app.wikonnect.org on a new private/guest browser
2. Note the time it takes to render the first content
