Software Translation Support Guide

Hello,

I would like to add multi-language support to software and I’m looking for translators to help make this happen.

I’ve prepared a short guide for anyone interested in contributing translations.

Note: If you choose to help, it would be greatly appreciated if you could update your translation whenever a new version is released.

Translation Rules

1. Always use the English.ini file as your reference when translating.
2. Please do not use machine translation or artificial intelligence for your translations. Translations produced using machine translation or artificial intelligence are invalid.
3. Make sure you work from the latest version of the file.
4. [Title] sections must remain unchanged. Do NOT translate them.
5. In lines like xxx = yyy:
   • xxx is the variable name — do NOT translate this part.
   • yyy is the text that must be translated.
6. Lines starting with ; are comments.
7. Placeholders like {0}, {1}, or ({2}) must be kept intact and placed in the correct position.

Additional Notes

• Languages listed in [HeaderLangs] do not have to be in English.
  • The text inside parentheses must remain in English.
  • The part before the parentheses can be in the target language.

Extra Guidelines

• For lang_name, use the format: LANGUAGE NAME / COUNTRY
  Example: English / US
• For lang_tag, use the short language code.
  Example: en
• For translator, you may include your name and contact information.
