Progress component - theme - railHeight doesn't change height of rail

In my theme overrides I have:

...
Progress: {
    railHeight: 30
},
...

(Also tried "30px"). But the the line of my progress bar remains at the default height. I can successfully change it via the height prop, but not via this theme var. Am I misunderstanding its purpose?

On closer inspection it seems the railHeight theme var takes effect only when not using indicator-placement: "inside"
