Support For ty (by Astral) - Is it Possible? Likely?

I'm sure everyone interested in this project knows about ty by now.

I've never seen such a high ratio of love:hate as there is on astral's other creations like uv and ruff, which aligns with my own experience moving to both. Naturally I'm eager to make the switch from pyright as soon as it's ready to do so.

I noticed that someone (presumably a contributor to ty) said in a HN comment that they don't plan to support plugins. Curious what the implications are for something like django-stubs, or use of ty within django at all?

Just like pyright: only partial support is possible. Only mypy has plugins.

I am hopeful that they’ll eventually try to help tackle Django and other ORMs, but that's a long way off and will probably require a dedicated effort inside ty.
