I proposed the same and was working on, see these lines in other-annoyances.txt
Not doing the sorting process recently as is busy, but will start to work on again gradually. Any help will be appreciated, and I tend to hope other members to put new rules in according sections if possible. |

Breakages by our Annoyances is much rarer than Fanboy or AdGuard's, I have to admit. |

Disagree, I add many such filters and yet to see ppl reporting such filters, exceptions could be there, BUT exceptions can never be the rule. |

Yeah, actually that part is about the filters that are not soft anti-adb (anti copy, right click, selection, devtools...). |

Actually, there's one kind of file splitting I want to do is putting the general filters, i.e the filters that apply to multiple sites, in a file like For example, these kinds of filters include regex, Ad-Shield, CHP, Propeller, popMagic, PopAds, Adcash, Clickadu, FingerprintJS...: Long list

uBOL is meant to be simpler from the point of view of users, it's difficult to understand the purpose of a separate "uBlock Annoyances -- Others" to users. It's separate in uBO because it's how it started. For the same reasons I am not keen on adding AdGuard annoyances-related lists, especially that I feel there is more breakage out of it as a result of conflicting filters or diverting filter syntax. AdGuard filters used to be included because EasyList was not making use of more advanced syntax available in uBO, but that has changed. |

It looks it's difficult for us to reach a 100% consensus. Simple question: should we merge #27758 ? |

Splitting the section inside the file is fine I think. I agree on merging it. We can decide later whether to split into different files (maybe depends on how users feedback on uBOL?) |

I know this has been discussed before but I'm not really sure if "Overlay Notices" and labeling it "EasyList/uBO" Is the best way to go about it either. We've always told users to enable "uBlock Annoyances" to get rid of nuisances. So that's what most users are used to I guess. |

Currently most commits are pushed into
filters-*
With most soft Anti-adblock inannoyances-others.txt
.Would it be possible to start a process of having (hard) Anti-adblock rules in its own list, making filters-* commits a little more modular?
Understand separating anti-adblock not the easiest to do, making it modular will make it easier to maintain/debug.
Soft:
annoyances-antiblock.txt
Hard:
filters-antiblock.txt
^ Something like this?
