Need help crafting filter

I have the following filter:

www.youtube.com##button.ytp-button:nth-of-type(7)

It hides a specific button on YouTube.
It works well on YT itself; however, when YouTube is embedded in another page, it actually hides an useful button (because what it hides in YT itself doesn't exist in embeds). How can I make an exception so this filter only works for 1st-party requests (when I'm on YT itself) and make it not apply to embeds/3rd-party requests?

I tried the following:

example.com#@#button.ytp-button:nth-of-type(7)

Where example.com is the site with embed I wanted to add an exception for this filter. Sadly, it did not work.

Thanks for the response. However, I can only hide that specific button with the aforementioned filter.

My intention is to make an exception filter for that instead of trying to find another suitable filter (I already tried that without success, sadly).

How did you come to this conclusion? Did you open browser tools and inspect the element and surrounding to find out if there are unique constructs around it?

I used element picker from uBlock Origin and it resulted in some button.ytp-button:nth-of-type with a different number. This was some time ago, but I believe this new filter of mine is to hide a button that is added by an extension.

We are deviating from the original purpose. My idea is: can I make an exception filter for this filter so it doesn't apply on third-party websites that embed youtube content? If not, then I'll take a look at trying to craft another filter, but I need to know first if my original idea can still be done.

It's a case of a XY problem: Best is to first create a better targeted filter such that there is no need for an overly complicated exception in the first place.

Thanks. It was indeed a case of a XY problem.

I was able to solve my problem. What was I trying to hide was, in fact, not an add-on button, but the autoplay button.

This previously-mentioned filter works partially: it hides the button, but not the space it occupies. I had this filter and www.youtube.com##button.ytp-button:nth-of-type(7), but as I mentioned, this was causing problems.

This works perfectly and I now can remove my two problem-causing filters.
