Safari: Question about extensions permissions and profiles.

If the extension is allowed access to all websites globally, but it is disabled in a specific profile. Does the extension have access to the websites open in that profile or not. UBOL is not visible on the website but if I go to Safari Settings -> Websites -> UBOL it says the extension is allowed access to the sites that are open in the profile it is supposed to be disabled in. Just wanted to ask if it actually has access or not. Thank you.

In Safari 17 and later, when you grant access to an extension for a specific web site, that grants the extension access to the site across all profiles, private browsing, and browsing without a profile.

Safari extensions are available to all profiles, but are managed (turned on or off) separately.

When using Safari profiles, extensions for the default profile are managed in the main Extensions tab of Safari settings. Extensions for other profiles can be managed independently in the Profiles tab, which has its own Extensions tab for each profile. By default, extensions are turned off for each new profile.

Oh that sucks, I really didn't know. Apple should really be more clear about this. Maybe an FAQ entry for uBOL should be added to avoid confusion like mine?

Every browser has their own way to do profiles. These are issues that should be addressed at the browsers themselves. We can't note every single FAQ of every single browser whenever they do something unexpected.
