Feature request: Add display filters in “Show content” tab of filter lists

It would be very useful (especially for Custom filter lists and “My filters” section) to add filtering options (e.g. “Show network/cosmetic/scriptlet/exception filters”, “Show unused filters”, “Show filters with errors” etc.) in “Show content” tab of filter lists along with existing search capability.

The error counter is next to the search engine, you can move to them with the down arrow. It won't catch filter aging errors or typos that the basic parser/linter can't detect.

To search for specific filters based on ## / ##^ you can use regex in the search box:

• /##\+js\(/ - scriptlets
• /#@\??#/ - cosmetic exceptions even for scritplets and HTML filtering (where not all was deleted but duplicated as an exception)
• /\w#\??#[^+^]/ - these should be cosmetic filters with domain or public suffix (the appearance resembling emoticons from the early internet era is coincidental, these sweet eyes can be used in exception filtering to reject scriptlets and HTML filtering).

Network filters might be a bit more difficult, as regex is beyond my capabilities (global network filters can be stripped of $, ^, | or ||, and modifiers), for obvious exceptions you can use /^@@/.

I don't know what you mean by unused filters, the commented ones? Then this should catch them: /^(!|#)+? ?/ can highlight general cosmetic filters when used as a # preference for comments.

all regexes should select only a specific part of the line.

I don't work in high contrast mode, so if you don't see the search engine, highlighting these few characters in a line or the error counter (can sometimes count filters that only work with uBo Dev or uBOL), that's something to fix along the way (the level of difficulty may reach the level of rebuilding the editor and reader into a filter like in Logger).

No, I mean those that are covered by other filter lists. That is, when you enable a list, uBO says on the right e.g. “212 in use out of 220”, so I want to find easily which the 8 duplicates are.

And we probably won't be able to access the duplicate search engine from the search field with simple regex - it was probably reported as a feature (not necessarily from the list preview or my filters mode) and was rejected. It remains based on the old ABP code and Famlam code:
