Site-licensed software installers and licenses, and update scheduling

Both software and licenses are located in a protected directory on Box. To gain access, reach out to AskIT and ask for access to the software installer directories for Stata and SAS, if you do not already have it.

Licenses and installers for all available platforms for the following software are available.

• SAS (Cheaha)
• Stata (Cheaha)
• SPSS (VM images)
• Windows (VM images)
• Windows Server (VM images)

Update scheduling:

1. SAS. Update in October.
2. Stata: Update in December.
3. MATLAB: Update license in July. Update software in March and September.
4. Mathematica: Releases happen approximately six months apart, but the months drift. We can be reactive to requests for updates on this one. It is very, very rarely used. Request installer from AskIT.
5. Miniforge3: Check for updates each quarter. FOSS.
6. R: Update in April, or when requested. FOSS.
7. RStudio: Check for updates at end of each quarter. FOSS.
