My best guess is that "something wrong" is subjective and grub won't be able to usually detect it. For example, if user can't run one of their apps, but OS still loads, grub won't be able to pick up on that, but user would still want to run previous version via grub. (I started using aurora recently so my guess could be way off) |

KDE linux do this with systemd-boot https://invent.kde.org/kde-linux/kde-linux/-/merge_requests/346 but I'm not sure its possible with Grub |
