Propably people who want to get the OCI, know how to get it. If you think there would be good to be something in the docs, our PRs are open
Sure, if someone wants to PR a fix that makes Ventoy 100% work, by all means. We just mention that we don't support problems that Ventoy can cause. It works pretty well when using the "grub2 mode" but we don't give support for it. If it works, it works, if it doesn't - use fedora media writer.
Has been working fine, you can use somekind of download helper if your connection to cloudflare is somewhat bad |

We actually do publish pdfs of our documentation on the system itself! https://github.com/ublue-os/aurora-docs/releases/download/0.1/aurora.pdf

Hello. On my own computer, my host OS uses Libostree. In my tasks I use OCI containers and virtual machines via Podman, Podman Desktop, Toolnox, and Cockpit. My goal was to evaluate as a container or virtual machine the advantages I could gain from using this OS apparently built on top of Fedora Kinoite with Homebrew integration as a package management. That's how I ended up in the
releases/tagssection of this repository. There, quite rightly, is an invitation to read the documentation.note: the link https://docs.getaurora.dev/ attached to "documentation" doesn't actually point to the documentation. To access it, you need to click "Documentation" in the panel on the left side, which will take you to https://docs.getaurora.dev/guides/system-requirements.
And it is precisely here, if anywhere else, that one would expect to find instructions for acquiring an OCI container image of this OS, as well as the image registry address dedicated to this company's products if any. Yet none of this is present in this documentation. Furthermore, the fact that the documentation is not available as a PDF file does not facilitate the discovery of this OS. While there is a third-party service, deepwiki.com that publishes content about this OS, relying on a source other than the official one is hardly a wise option. And according to this source, a registry of container images '
ghcr.io/ublue-os/' related to this OS exists.Regarding the ISO file, I had considered writing it to a Ventoy-formatted medium. However, as advertised by this company, the image it produces is incompatible with it. So, shouldn't it simply be made compatible?
Finally, regarding its acquisition via a web browser, it invariably fails once it reaches 55 % of its total size. Yet, there is plenty of storage space.
