Can't update to latest image

Hi @castrojo, I'm the creator of the above mentioned thread, which now unfortunately was closed by a mod. I was sent to Github to continue the discussion here. As @sprintcowboy already mentioned, I have the same problem and all the necessary information is posted in the above mentioned thread. Basically, any update from gts-42.20260106 upwards results in these booting errors:

Bug: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address 0000000000000000, #PF: supervisor instruction fetch in kernel mode, #PF: error_code(0x0010) - not-present page

Also, rebasing to newest stable and stable-daily produces errors and I can’t boot on my system. But the newest version of latest (latest-43.20260131.1 and now latest-43.20260202.1) just works fine without errors. One user on the ublue forum (https://universal-blue.discourse.group/t/freeze-at-boot/11556/12?u=futureneeds) said, "So if a latest streams build works and stable doesn’t, its might be a kernel regression that happens with the 6.17.x kernel. latest is already on 6.18.7". My/our question is: How do we get back to a working gts or stable release? Can you help us troubleshoot this problem?

I would stay on latest until the new kernel lands in stable. I would guess 6.18 will land in next week's build.

Then ujust rebase-helper and to rebase back to stable.

Sorry I have not got back with you with the info
This is a friends computer I am installing Bluefin on
Every time I'm available they are not home and now they are sick
So not sure when I can get the info to you

In this case, waiting for the right now latest version to land in stable branch, like @castrojo advised, seems to be the least troublesome option so solve the problem.

Hope this helps although it looks like a future image will solve the problem
I've installed Bluefin on several friends and family's computers and this is the only computer to give me problems
I also switched the dvi to the intel graphics bypassing the amd graphics card
Still the same outcome
