We have not considered it yet, as even DeepEP does not support 5090/4090 now, while uccl-ep inherits the main kernel logic from DeepEP.

GPUDirect RDMA is a datacenter GPU exclusive feature. GeForce GPUs, e.g. RTX 5090 and 4090, must use bounce buffer in host DRAM to relay gated tokens, which significantly hurts performance.
