Serializing/Deserializing image size in html

Hi,

I'm using the image plugin that ships with plate and I can resize pictures visually in the editor but when I serialize the nodes to html and then deserialize them back into the editor it goes back to being full width.

I've found a hacky way of saving the width in the html, but I can't seem to understand how I can load the value back into the editor, so it keeps showing full width.

Is this something the image plugin doesn't support yet and has to be overriden? And if so can someone give me some pointers on what specific field of the plugin I would be using?
