Jump to specific area

I'm looking for a way to hook into Plate where I can trigger the editor to jump to a specific area of a long document. My plan is to use mentions and then have my app's task manager be able to search the editor and jump to a mention within the document without the user having to scroll through to look for it.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
