React 18 not working again.

I cannot get this working with NextJS and React 18. I saw others had the same issue in the past.

Yes, our env works with React 18.2, Next 12.3.1, slate 0.82.1, slate-react 0.83.2, plate 18.3.0, Node.js 16.17.1, etc.

I'm having the same issue, It doesn't install plate-core. This error happens

I was about to ask this question before jumping in to using it as I'm on React 18 as well. Looking at the package.json, the project uses specific version of React v.17.0.2. Could someone please confirm if there is a plan to provide v.18.x compatibility?

I'm using React 18 in production with no problems, so if there are any compatibility issues, they're in edge cases that I haven't personally encountered while using Plate. I recommend you give it a try and create an issue if you find something that works in React 17.x but not 18.
