"Placeholder" on Vanilla UI "Select" input not working

Hello,

I've faced with the issue that when I use the BasicConfig (Vanilla UI) the Select field is not showing any label or "placeholder" until you choose an option even when fieldPlaceHolder value in on the config JSON. The first option (disabled) value is "" so, what can I do to show a label there?
