Feature: Enhance json update performance

A blockgrid can contain quite a lot of json data in my case. Is it possible to optimize updating of blockgrid content data?

Perhaps there is a json patch mcp tool that can enhance the speed and possibly limit the amount of tokens used?

Agreed that this is hard work for the LLM (and wasteful of tokens) and are looking into how we can optimise this process.
We are looking into a few options, your suggestions is one of them

Just to clarify, you are asking for updating the property containing the BlockGrid and not updating a single element / property within a BlockGrid structure

@hifi-phil I am trying to update elements within the BlockGrid so if it's possible to do this directly it would solve my issue.
I however cannot seem to make this happen. I asked the agent if it was possible and it replied:

Looking at the available Umbraco tools, I can see that the API is designed to work at the document level. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to update individual blockGrid elements directly through the available Umbraco Management API endpoints.

Basically I have a page with a BlockGrid field and I want to, for example, remove all lorem ipsum text and replace it with real text content. Currently it has to re-write the entire BlockGrid json object and send the entire re-written json object which is quite slow

Ah Ok, I see. I think there are two issues here

The first is re-creating the whole document json just for the updates the BlockGrid field. Yes I agree that this is currently quite slow and likely to hallucinate and error. We are looking to updating the Management API so that we can patch a single property on a document.

The second issue, specifically updating a single item on a BlockGrid, I'm sure we can do as yet.
