Would it be too much to ask for to let editors be able to roll back to a saved version of a content-node?

When two editors are editing the same page and they want to just save the page, and publish it later, there is a very real chance that one of the editors will loose it's work.
Or is there a way I haven't figured out to handle such a case, besides giving them a history to be able to see what was changed?
