We've recently had some issues with bots on our Umbraco Cloud sites resulting in multiple sites auto-upgrading their hosting plan, this is obviously not ideal from a cost estimation point of view. I've been in touch with cloud support. They suggest implementing rate limiting or IP-blacklisting. IP-blacklisting doesn't work proactively and while rate limiting would likely alleviate a lot of our problems the request would still hit the website and count towards our monthly limits. I wonder if you would consider enabling or having a setting to enable cloudflare bot protection, it may not be a silver bullet but it has the benefit of stopping a request before it reaches the website.
