Issue summary

The original developer of Pikaday, the datepicker used by Umbraco Forms, has archived the project after years of successfully ignoring the project he started in 2012. (his words).

Even though there haven't been updates to the pikaday datepicker in years I think it's time to start looking at other options that either build more on the native HTML5 datepicker or are more actively maintained. This will also solve open issues regarding accessibility.
