Description
Stories might be an interesting format to get people involved into the process and shed some light onto what's going on inside the application. Simplest take could be to create a story whenever a photo for a tree is uploaded, then display most recent things for last 24 hours.
We could then also use stories from a bot account to notify users of achievements, or records, like tallest tree found, new species, etc.
