How to customize ui?

Hello, is there a way to customize the UI, such as moving buttons or changing the layout?

Remark42 renders inside an iframe, so the host page's CSS doesn't reach the widget directly. The main customisation options available through configuration are:

• theme — 'light' or 'dark', can also be switched at runtime via window.REMARK42.changeTheme('dark')
• simple_view — minimised UI with basic info only
• no_footer — hides the footer with Remark42 links
• locale — interface language (en, de, fr, es, ru, zh, and others)
• show_email_subscription / show_rss_subscription — toggle subscription UI elements

There's no built-in mechanism for moving buttons or changing the layout beyond these options. For deeper visual changes, you'd need to fork the frontend and build a custom version — the development setup is documented at https://remark42.com/docs/contributing/frontend/.
