[BUG] Media controls unreliable & Acrylic not rendering correctly

Describe the bug
FluentFlyout media flyout shows track info correctly but media controls (Play/Pause) do not work. Acrylic effect also does not render and the flyout background stays plain black. Sometimes the flyout remains visible even after the media app is closed.

To Reproduce

1. Open Spotify (Desktop or Web) and start playing any song.
2. Press Play/Pause or Next media keys on the keyboard.
3. FluentFlyout appears with song info.
4. Try clicking Play/Pause/Next buttons inside the flyout.
5. Close Spotify completely.

Expected behavior

• Media control buttons should control playback.
• Acrylic/Mica effect should render correctly.
• Flyout should disappear when no active media session exists.
• Flyout should reliably appear on every media key press.

Problem persists after restart and clean reinstall. Likely related to Windows Media Session handling.

Thanks for the response! Here are the specific issues I’m facing:

1. Media controls not working

• When music/video is playing (Spotify Tested), the FluentFlyout media panel appears.
• However, the Play/Pause buttons do not work — clicking them does nothing.
• Track changes only work inside the actual app, not from FluentFlyout.

2. Blank / black player sometimes

• Occasionally the media panel shows as a black/empty box (no artwork, no artist, only the app name).
• This can also happen after the media app is closed — FluentFlyout still shows a blank player.

3. Media overlay not consistent

• Sometimes the song appears for ~1 second and then disappears.
• Acrylic / background effect does not always render correctly.

4. Stale session issue

• After closing Spotify, the media panel may still appear in FluentFlyout with no content until a new session starts.

Environment:

• OS: Windows 11 (latest stable)
• FluentFlyout: latest version from Microsoft Store
• Media apps tested: Spotify (Store) + YouTube (Chrome)

It sounds like you're facing a lot of issues at once, and it's definitely not normal behavior. Is this the media flyout or taskbar widget? Could you also list your computer specs?

This is the Media Flyout (not the taskbar widget).

System specs:

• Device: Acer Aspire 7
• CPU: Intel Core i5 (8th Gen)
• GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1650 + Intel iGPU (hybrid)
• RAM: 16 GB
• Storage: 512 GB NVMe SSD
• OS: Windows 11 (Beta / Insider channel, latest build)

The issues only happen inside the FluentFlyout media overlay:

• Play/Pause buttons don’t respond
• Media panel sometimes renders as a black/empty box
• Media session sometimes remains visible after the app is closed

Other Windows media controls (taskbar and system flyout) work correctly.

the issue got fixed in newest update but i do have a problem i only wanna use fluent flyout in spotify and all not in youtube.com how i disable it for youtube
