ō (O with macron) renders incorrectly.

Problem description

The "o with macron" character (ō) renders incorrectly in some situations. The macron is offset too far to the right from the character.
(As in the word Shōgun)

Expected behavior

The macron should be directly over the letter o.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to the Fraunces demo site (https://fraunces.undercase.xyz/)
2. Open the developer window and edit the word "Fraunces" and replace it with "Shōgun"
3. See error, as per uploaded image.

Environment (please complete the following information):

• OS: [e.g. iOS 13.2, Windows 10 v1909]
• Browser: [e.g. chrome 79, safari 13.0.4]
• Fonts: [e.g. v 1.036 at commit e72e93e]

MacOS Sequoia 15.5

Firefox and Brave show the issue. For some reason, Chrome and Safari do not show the error for me.
