Feature Request

Problem

When the word alignment panel is open, there is no keyboard shortcut to close it. Users must click the Cancel button with the mouse.

Proposed Solution

Allow pressing Escape to close the alignment panel, equivalent to clicking the Cancel button (discards unsaved changes). This is a standard UX pattern for modal dialogs and improves keyboard accessibility and workflow speed.

Acceptance Criteria

• Pressing Escape while the alignment panel is open closes it
• The behavior is identical to clicking the Cancel button (no changes saved)
