Clicking link in outside app (email, etc) opens new browser window, with errors (instead of tab in existing window)

Hiya,
I'm hoping to investigate this further but I'm not sure where to start.
I use CachyOS (Arch) linux and have been using Ungoogled Chromium (installed through the Arch Store)
Version 143.0.7499.109-1 (Official Build, ungoogled-chromium) Arch Linux (64-bit)
This appears to be the latest version available on distro store, and I'm not experienced with linux enough to install/update from GitHub.

I've searched this forum for similar reports of this but found nothing, so I hope it's a one-off problem (not a bug, etc) I can fix somehow.

Anyway, whenever I click a web link from another app (Email, etc) it opens a new window instead of a new tab and there are several "Profile Error occurred" popup windows along with a "Restore Pages" popup complaining about not shutting down correctly. (Meanwhile, my main UG Chromium is actually still up and not shut down at all) The screenshot below is from clicking a link in my email:

What I expect to happen:

1. When clicking a link in a outside app (Email, etc) I expect a new tab in my existing browser window to open.

What happens instead:

1. A new browser window opens with a 7 profile errors. (And it's a separate session, apparently)

Anyone have any config suggestions to look into? I'm sure it's probably just me missing a setting somewhere.

Meh!
Of course after I wrote this post, the problem went away. I had restarted my browser to try and troubleshoot and it seems to have fixed it. However, I know from experience over time this is an ongoing problem so it probably will pop up again eventually...

Still clueless here. LOL

Double check your mime-settings: what are the applications for url:s and mailto:s etc. And what parameters are supplied to them. Could be conflicting user profile or conflicting chromium-apps.
