Description
@lucacasonato kindly donated the messageformat.dev site to Unicode. It has been converted to a Unicode.org repo.
@srl295 asked:
-
we do NOT have a final domain name, nor are we ready to go public (need Unicode branding, etc).
-
A question came up from InfraWG about whether this should be a cldr.unicode.org subsite. Liang things this is technically possible (makes CLDR’s build more complex but is possible.
-
The site isn’t the spec, it’s not (currently) the WG’s landing page. It’s a guide and a playground. I think this is perhaps a question for the MFWG to work through as to the exact use and identity of this site as to how its domain should be.
Anyway, messageformat.unicode.org would be an obvious domain name in the absence of a better idea.
As a working group:
- we want to maintain and develop this, right?
- do we have a preference for where it is hosted?
- who would like to volunteer to work on it?
- do we want to deal with this in the WG weekly call or manage it separately?
