I tend to alias k=kubectl and I haven't been able to get tab completion working with the alias using either compdef or zqs-compdef-as. Works fine with kubectl itself, but it seems like the k plugin is interfering

The k plugin seems neat if I could rebind it to l or something, but alternatively just being able to disable it entirely without maintaining a full plugin file would be nice

I don't have time to add another zqs setting until at least the weekend, but in the interim, you can customize the plugin list to exclude it by overriding the stock one.

So after doing some digging into this, it turns out the tab-completion issue I was running into was unrelated to that plugin anyway.
In the end all I ended up needing to do to rename the function was this:

# Move supercrabtree/k to l keybinding
functions -c k l
unset -f k

Given that it's only two lines, I think it's probably not worth adding a complex settings feature around. Maybe just documentation for it might be better?

This was the fix for my tab-completion problem:

setopt complete_aliases

# Kubernetes
source <(kubectl completion zsh)
alias k=kubecolor
alias kgp="kubecolor get pods"

# Fix aliased kubectl completion
function _k() {
    words[1]=kubectl
    _kubectl
}
compdef _k k
compdef _k kgp
