Cannot register for KGS based tournament

Summary of the Bug

When a user tries to sign up for a KGS online tournament, it does not verify their username and clears it out when trying to register.

Steps to Reproduce the Behavior

1. Sign up for tournaments
2. Click tournament to register for
3. Enter username for server
4. Save registration
5. See error

The Expected Behavior

Should display "validating..." and then "username verified".
