+ short_bio: Filipe P. de Farias is a Ph.D. student in the Division of Systems and Control, Department of Information Technology, at Uppsala University, Sweden. He works under the supervision of Prof. André Teixeira and Prof. Christos Vergonis. His research interests include control of stochastic dynamical systems, information theory, and machine learning. In 2022, he earned his B.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering with an emphasis in Signals and Systems from the Federal University of Ceará (Fortaleza, Brazil). He was a visiting student at Aalto University (August-December 2022) in the Group of Process Control and Automation. In 2025, he earned his M.Sc. in Teleinformatics Engineering with an emphasis in Pattern Recognition and Dynamical Systems from the Federal University of Ceará (Fortaleza, Brazil).
