+ short_bio: Filipe P. de Farias is a Ph.D. student in the Division of Systems and Control, Department of Information Technology, Uppsala University, Sweden, under the supervision of André Teixeira and Christos Verginis. His research interests include the control of stochastic dynamical systems, information theory, and machine learning. He received his B.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering, with an emphasis on Signals and Systems, from the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil, in 2022. From August to December 2022, he was a visiting student at Aalto University, Finland, in the Group of Process Control and Automation. In 2025, he obtained his M.Sc. degree in Teleinformatics Engineering, with an emphasis on Pattern Recognition and Dynamical Systems, from the Federal University of Ceará.
