[FR] config file supports remote cloud datastore

Problem

I've been found the config file hard to manage:

1. it can easily get lost when recreating the VPS, which can be frequent.
2. there is no way to centralize config files when you manage multiple VPS. Remote mounting a file storage might work, but I wonder if there is a more native way.
3. it makes the service less portable. If we could set a remote config file using one flag, along with containerization, deploying a service can be extremely easy.
4. Credentials are hard to store.

What do you all think of this proposal? I understand setting up credentials can also be painful, but a remote config of some sort could be useful (maybe retrieving config from a private repo?). Anyway, let me know if it's a good idea and I can start implementing it.
