Happily debugging rust, but all of a sudden I only get Error: spawn Unknown system error -8

It was working for a while and today all I get is "Error: spawn Unknown system error -8" when I try to launch and then the extension says

And then clicking on Diagnostics says

But I see no additional messages in the log. Will try to reboot, this is a MacOS M2 machine running the latest extension.

Ah I just uninstalled AND deleted the extension folder and re-installed. That worked. So although other people are not getting -8 it might be a very similar problem.
