How to make lldb load libraries opened by C dlopen or Java System.loadlibrary

dlopen breaks the dynamic library dependency of binary. So when attaching the process at the very beginning, lldb will not automatically load those libraries. Could I load those libraries before dlopen passed and set a breakpoint?

I think lldb is supposed to dynamically load symbols when you dlopen the library. So you should be able to seat a pending breakpoint at startup, which will be resolved and inserted once the library is loaded. Not sure if this works on all platforms, though.

Other than this, apropos <keyword> is a handy way to discover lldb commands and settings that may be related to some task. In this case, try apropos symbols.

You are right. I make a test for native dlopen. After the library was dlopened, "target modules dump symbtab" shows me all symbols of the library. However, Android jni native library is more complicated, which is packaged into the base.apk. And After loaded, lldb cannot find any symbol in it while the library was not stripped and have .debug_info section inside it.

But it's load address is not right.

What's wared is now I cannot stop at native code in Android Studio while I could previously.

When Android Studio works normally on windows10, I can get maps from the thread and target & module info from lldb.

I found android's JNI native so loading is so complicated. orz

I work around by push the library into /data/app//-/lib/arm64. Then android loads it as a normal library rather than a memory-based library unzipped from bake.apk. I do not know the official way to deal with it. Is there some place like here for Android Studio?
