Contacted IP addresses

Why does the application seem to contact IP addresses marked as Webroots?

I understand that many heuristics-based antivirus programs may indicate, given their capabilities, that ExplorerPatcher is "malware".
This is certainly not the case. But the fact that it apparently contacts malicious IP addresses is worrisome.

Is this more like a problem from Microsoft itself?..... ()

I am sorry to bring this up (probably, again), since I really trust the kindness of @valinet in wanting to provide this software for the convenience of the community...
