third party firewalls sometimes blocking the downloading of windows symbols

Right now explorer patcher only downloads symbols during installation if they do not exist yet for the version of windows you are running. If they fail to download, there's no notification that it failed, so it fails silently. And the only way that I can tell it to try downloading them again is to uninstall and reinstall, or reboot maybe?

Can you include the following in the explorer patcher properties application that will do the following:

1. shows if windows symbols have already been downloaded
2. show a link or button that when pressed, attempts to download the windows symbols
3. if the windows symbols fail to download, show a notification indicating that
