Unable to check for updates

EP version 22621.1992.56.3

EP thinks I have no internet access
When I check for updates I get the 'make sure you are connected to the internet' message. This started with the previous version of EP. The URL was copied from EP properties to manually install the current version. I still have the problem.

Edit: uninstall, reboot after deleting registry entries and reinstalled fixed it.
