Feature Request: Add Windows version/build check before installing

With new versions being released constantly and also in different branches, I think it would be a great help if the installer checked winver before installation and informed the user whether EP is compatible with their build version.
It is quite difficult to find any up-to-date information regarding which versions are supported.
I once installed it on a preview build (ENTIRELY MY OWN FAULT for not reading the documentation first) but it would be nice to have some sort of rudimentary check for Windows builds that are supported, at least for EP main features. The installer could download a small text file containing supported Windows builds and display a message if the users current build is or is not on the list of supported Windows builds. I might be very naive here, as I don't know if cumulative updates change the version number, I am simply assuming they do.
