[Win11] Where is Tab "File > Open Command prompt" in File Explorer

Hi

In Win10 there is a tab "File" and we can quickly open a shell.
The benefit to open the shell directly from the folder (instead or WIN+R) is that it open and the path of the folder is already defined. It's faster.

Is there a way to nativly recover this tab ? Or does ExplorerPatcher have such a patch ?

Great thank you! It works!

Still not perfect because when I open "File" it takes 1-2 second to open. I've the feeling that Win11 tries to load the last used files and doesn't find any.
But it better than nothing.

Now tab "Home" opens quicker... it seems it was related to the number of folders which were pinned to the Quick Access. I removed many of them.

By the way, your link helped me to restore ribbon but unfortunately, the address bar is gone. I've noticed that I could use vivetool with ID 40950262 but it didn't fix it.

Please post windows version and build. You can find this by running winver.
Please post explorer patcher version.

Please include what settings you changed in explorer patcher properties application. These should be screen shots. If you can, please change it to english first.

Please include any other software you have installed that modifies the UI of windows.

I can't remember which options I enabled in Exploter Patcher. For sure I enabled the Windows 10 style for the tasks bar. And maybe 1-2 other options

It worked but then the address bar or the search disapeared

Option Three: Restore Classic File Explorer with Ribbon for Current User using REG file (Works in 23H2+)
This option will only work on Windows 11 23H2 and higher.

That could be the reason. On your link the other possibilities aren't for 22H2
