Please post windows version and build. You can find this by running winver. Please include if you are running x86-64 or Arm. And what language your windows is in.

Please explain how EP version 22621.4317.67.1 is no longer functional.

That just means you uninstall EP, upgrade windows, and then install EP afterwards.

This keeps getting asked. What do you not understand about the error message windows is showing you?

Thank you for your prompt response. My confusion arose from an error message indicating that Windows could not continue its update due to an incompatibility with the current version of Explorer Patcher. I have uninstalled Explorer Patcher and am now attempting the Windows update again. Afterward, I will try reinstalling Explorer Patcher and will update you on the results.

UPDATE (several hours later): Once the Windows update had completed, and after a couple of restarts that allowed everything to settle in. I reinstalled Explorer Patcher and verified the expected behavior.

That error message is shown when you have any applications installed that windows thinks is not compatible with the windows 11 upgrade process. It is telling you that you must uninstall those applications it is listing, in order to run the windows 11 upgrade process.

What did you think it was telling you to do?

I apologize for not wording my previous response in a way that made sense. After reading your response, I uninstalled Explorer Patcher, updated my Windows installation, reinstalled Explorer Patcher, and verified the proper operation of both Windows and Explorer Patcher. My issue has been resolved. To answer your repeated question, I thought I would no longer be able to make use of Explorer Patcher if I wished to update the Windows OS or choose to remain on that version of Windows and continue to be able to use Explorer Patcher.
