There are two distinct battery W11 24H2 actions: left click, brings out "control center" and right click brings up "Power and Battery Settings". Power and Battery Setting allows for changing of the Power Mode, which is similar to W10 left click control. Right click on Battery in W10 mode brings the old power plan selector. Current laptops have only one plan, Balanced" where Power Mode determine Better Battery, Balance, Better Performance settings. The current W7 behavior cannot switch power mode. Hence we desperately need to mimic the W11 behavior which is "richer" than W7 and some users might prefer W11 behavior to W7 or W10, even if the latter is getting fixed later on. This should be extremely simple to implement in explorer patcher and the issue is not resolved. |
